OK, here's an idea I got from Steve Wax from Campfire, who's here in Singapore with me for Engage2006. He suggested I start a chain message so to speak through the blogosphere and I thought it was a cool idea.
So essentially I'll start with one sentence and then turn it over to the next blogger to write in the next line. Hopefully we'll end up with a really substantial and meaningful manifesto (think steps, guide, list, mantra etc)
The New Marketing Manifesto - authored by us
There is no leadership in our industry anymore; in the agency, media and marketer worlds, few dare to stick their necks out, stand up and be counted.
(the next blogger should leave their line in as a comment and/or trackback. The working manifesto can be lifted and placed on the commentor's blog - I will make sure it is updated in full on my blog; everyone should try and comment only once...if necessary we'll start again from the top. I will leave the management and control of this in the blogosphere's hands.)
