Colonel Sanders is at it again. And this time, by the likes of it, he's appealing to Martians who aren't as concerned about trans-fats as I guess we are.
It's an interesting play, which comes along with "The making of...", a hidden message treasure hunt and aerial shots.
Would have been even more delicious with a Google Earth/Microsoft application/functionality.

You know what no one seems to be talking about with this is the fact that the Colonel is wearing an apron. What is that all about! He's not some fry boy cooking up the chicken. He's the god on the hill, kindly overseeing his loyal subjects who create the best tasting chicken that he can come up with for them. Just sad to see a great company like KFC falling so far behind that their creator resorts to throwing on an apron and pitching in.

Good pick up on the apron. The backstory is that the Colonel was first and foremost a chef. Lest we forget the secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices.
My question on the apron is this: Is the Colonel a big adidas fan as he's sporting he three stripes?

I agree a tie in with Google Earth, some level of interactivity, would have made this more interesting.
What is it with companies wanting to blast their brands' logos everywhere? I remember buzz about Pizza Hut considering to blast their logo onto the surface of the moon.
Really? Is this new media or this just lazy stunts?
Target accidentally created an effective idea by putting their logo on the top of their stores near an airport which inadvertently was captured by Google Earth and is now visible when searching your neighborhood in Google Maps. That's smart and clever.
KFC's new Colonel Sanders logo is just a bit cheap and lazy. I can hear someone in a marketing meeting briefing an agency with "Make the logo bigger!!"
