WOW! $6 billion dollars is a lot of money (even in my book), except if you're GroupOn founder, Andrew Mason, who just rejected an acquisition offer from the Mighty Googol.
So why not the love? Purchase price not high enough? Greed? Hubris? Deep philosophical concerns? All of the above? None of the above?
Actually none of that really matters. What *does* matter is the rise of "local social" and the role that group-based social-commerce is going to continue to play in our lives.
